Hello, all! I am posting today to share a flash sale with my readers – I generally try to do two sales per year, one approximately around each of the Solstices. A bit late this summer, but here we go. From today until Friday June 30, the following (major) discounts are on offer.
- The Basics of Canine Nutrition (full certificate course) regular price $600.00, on sale at 30% off for just $420.00 (Canadian funds)
See partial description here: https://thepossiblecanine.com/product/the-basics-of-canine-nutrition
- Canine Dietary Formulation, regular price $400.00, is on offer at $300.00 OR your choice of auditing the basics course. Read about the Canine Dietary Formulation course here: https://thepossiblecanine.com/product/canine-nutrition-diet-formulation-course_m
- Combined Program – Normally $1,000.00 for both courses, the combined program is geared to the serious student who wishes to move into professional consulting with an edge over those who have no formal training. This one time only offer is a full 50% off the combined courses. Until Friday June 30, 2017, you can enroll in both for just $500.00. (note: no payment plans apply to a major discount like this).A few student comments:
“The Diet Formulation For Dogs course is excellent and best of all you can take your time and do it at your own pace . The course is very well structured and everything is covered from the ground up. Starting with Digestion and Energy, moving onto Macronutrients, Proteins, Carbohydrates, Fatty Acids , Micronutrients, Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements, with lots of practical work along the way. Each module builds on the last one with the aim to give you the confidence and the knowledge to feed a complete and balanced diet by the time the course is completed. If you love the thought of feeding your dog fresh foods but worry about getting the nutrient requirements correct, this is the perfect course for you.”
Michaela Morton, graduate
“Top notch nutritional and herbal information for dogs you can not find anywhere else from an actual career canine nutritionist and herbalist. “
Lori Greene
“Can’t recommend Cat’s courses and knowledge enough.”
Pennie Clayton, Basics of Canine Nutrition student
“Cat is a very structured teacher and her courses are very well written and developed. I’m currently enrolled in all her classes and actively studying both the Basic and Formulation courses. I am learning so much that I am more confident in being able to feed my dog right.”
Victoria Koay, full-program student
These courses are more than just dry information – they are a labour of love, have been developed over the last 2 decades of my work in canine nutrition, as a therapeutic specialist dealing with “the tough cases” and wanting to pass on the deep empowerment that education brings. I aim to make them all fun and engaging, as well as deeply educational. For more information, drop me a line at catlane@thepossiblecanine.com. And hey – I’m in the middle of a huge life-change – moving house! so I would ask: serious enquiries only. 🙂
Happy Summer!
Interested in your courses. I just joined your site very helpful. I like to learn all I can as my boxers have pancreatitis and one also has hystiocyclic ulcerative colitis. I’m reading as much as I can to learn but was wondering if these courses would help me. Thanks
Hi Lynette,
I feel the courses would help anyone interested in a strong foundation in nutritional science, the core knowledge(nutrients, food science, feeding methods, digestion etc) and also the process of formulating balanced recipes. however, two things. One, I don’t teach therapeutic nutrition at this time (it is coming) and u would need many months of study to complete these courses. My suggestion for you is, a consultation for these dogs. Pancreatitis is very responsive to dietary manipulation and the UC needs experienced care. I’d be happy to discuss the consultation process with you, as we can get immediate relief for both dogs – and then if you wish to study canine nutrition as well, the option is always there.
I am interested in taking both nutrition classes. I have two male boxers and one has chronic pancreatitis since November 2016 – I switched both to home cooked food two months ago and both are doing great! My concern is that I know they are not balanced.
